Federal Territories Ministry and City Welfare (KWPKB) pressured to disclose details about the number of questionnaires in relation to the proposed establishment of the New Kampungh Development Corporation (PPKB), which was returned by the population.
When making these calls, the PAS Youth Titiwangsa (DPPKT) wanted to know, of that number, how many of the original total population of New Village questionnaires must be submitted on the proposed establishment of PPKB.
DPPKT deputy chief, Mohd Shahir Abu Hassan said the statement yesterday saying the communications KWPKB 93.8 percent agree with the establishment PPKB owners.
"DPPKT questioned whether this amount reflects the majority of people support the establishment of the corporation, while the information obtained, only 30 percent of the people return," he said in a statement.
DPPKT, firmly believes that the ministry should disclose the total number of questionnaires received.
"DPPKT also think the ministry should try to get the people, at least 80 percent of the population as a whole.
"This is because they are the original landowners and the government intends to Kampung Baru to develop the land. It is improper for the government get their persetuju prior to making any decisions.
"Otherwise it is regarded as taking the right people without permission," said Mohd Shahir.
He said the ministry himself admitted having problems to contact the owners for a variety of factors such as the owner has died, the beneficiary is not to claim small estate, the owner is outside Kuala Lumpur, the owner of inaccessible and the difficulty of obtaining the consent of the owner in a lot with each other.
"If so, what bills need for New Village Corporation read the second time in Parliament in October?
"Does not this reflect the government's proposal made in a hurry, while still not been contacted by many owners.
"Government should be patient until the majority of people contacted and subsequently obtain their consent first, presented the proposed new bill New Village Corporation," he said.
Mohd Shahir said DPPKT still holds that the government should cancel or at least postpone the effort to bring the bill to parliament later in October.
"Provide sufficient space for the residents of Kampung Baru give a decision on the proposed development," he added. -Mk
